People commonly use marble on stairs, in kitchens, and outdoors. Marbles, being less absorbent, are durable and lend an elegant appearance to houses or buildings. Light-colored marbles are particularly favored in Pakistan. Buner marble should ideally have a thickness of at least 4 inches, while marble from Balochistan and Karachi is typically 3.5 or 3 inches thick (referred to as "sutar").

When buying marble, follow these steps to check its quality:

  1. Check Thickness: Make sure the marble is uniformly thick.

  2. Verify Dimensions: Ensure all four dimensions are equal, which is easy to fix if needed.

  3. Inspect Surface: The marble surface should be smooth and clear.

  4. Test Water Absorption: Drop some water on the surface to see if the marble absorbs it.

Additionally, the standard size for marble in Pakistan is commonly 9 inches in length, 4 inches in width, and 3 inches in height.

Verona China marble comes from China and is quite popular for its durability and elegant appearance. It's pricier than Trevera marble, but it's considered high-quality due to its fewer crystals. People sometimes refer to it by different names such as Parlino marble and Verona beige marble.
